  2. Subject: A short title explaining the purpose of the email

  3. Greeting: Begin with “Hi,” “Hello,” or “Dear”

  4. Body: Explain why you are writing

  5. Closing: End with “Thank you,” “Best,” or “Sincerely”

  6. Signature: Write your name

Example

To: Parent or tutor’s email
Subject: My Tuesday Learning Update

Hi Mom,

Today I learned how to create a basic email. I also practiced multiplication, division, and typing. Multiplication was easier for me because I remembered my number facts. I need more practice with division, but I am improving.

Thank you,
Sylver
