Math (30 Mins)
Lesson Intro: To multiply three numbers, you can multiply two at a time.
The order doesnโt change the answer (because multiplication is associative).
Steps
Multiply the first two numbers.
Multiply that product by the third number.
Example
3ร4ร53 \times 4 \times 53ร4ร5
= (3ร4)ร5(3 \times 4) \times 5(3ร4)ร5
= 12ร512 \times 512ร5
= 60
Tip (make it easier)
Look for pairs that make 10, 100, or other easy numbers.
Example: 2ร5ร72 \times 5 \times 72ร5ร7
= (2ร5)ร7(2 \times 5) \times 7(2ร5)ร7
= 10ร710 \times 710ร7
= 70
