Unit Prices

Sylver, a unit price tells you how much one item costs. It helps you compare deals and choose supplies wisely for your hat business.

To find the unit price, divide the total cost by the number of items.

For example, if 4 plain hats cost $24.00, divide $24.00 by 4. Each hat costs $6.00. If another pack has 6 hats for $30.00, each hat costs $5.00.

The second pack costs less per hat. Before choosing, also consider the quality, how many hats you need, and your budget.
