What are Equal Groups?

Equal groups mean that each group has the same number of items.

Example:

• 6 apples shared into 3 groups
  👉 Each group gets 2 apples

So:
6 ÷ 3 = 2

Steps:

1. Count the total number of items

2. Make equal groups

3. Count how many are in each group

✨ Example

You have 8 cookies and 4 friends 🍪

• Put cookies into 4 equal groups

• Each friend gets 2 cookies
