Lesson Intro: Use the Progressive Verb Tenses
Progressive verb tenses show that an action is happening over time. They tell us that something is happening now, was happening before, or will be happening later. Progressive tenses use a form of the verb to be with a verb ending in -ing.
Examples:
I am reading a book.
She was singing yesterday.
They will be traveling tomorrow.
In this lesson, we will learn how to use the present progressive, past progressive, and future progressive tenses correctly. This will help us describe actions more clearly and make our writing more interesting and complete.
